Avatar… absolutely AMAZING!!

As a holiday treat, and because our software is 3D Visualization software, our team went to see Avatar.

I have to start out by saying, this really isn’t my kinda movie. I’m not a Sci-Fi nut by any stretch. As Sci-Fi as I get is Star Wars… a tried and true goodie. AND, I’m old school Star Wars, not this Pre-Quel crap, either… Return of the Jedi is the latest I like, and really the Empire Strikes Back is my favorite.

So… I was sure I was going to sit there for 3 hours and be entertained, but not enjoy it thoroughly.

Boy, was I wrong.

I LOVED this movie. I fully intend on buying it. I stood up, turned to my boss and said, I hope there is a sequel and I can’t wait! I saw it on IMAX in 3D and after I got over the goofiness of the 3D with my polarized lenses, I sat down, and just enjoyed it immensely I didn’t fee like I was sitting there for 3 hours. I didn’t feel like I was sitting there for 1 hour. I had no concept of time, I was totally involved in the movie. I laffed, I cried, I cheered and I fell in love a few times, too.

I’m not giving away any details. Nope, you won’t get me talking other than to say that I truly loved it. If you get a chance to see it in 3-D, just do it. You’re going to love it. There’s some violence, ok a lot of violence, but your kids will love it too, you just have to prepare them.

Truly. You won’t regret it.

I’m still on sensory overload. I’m still raving about it to papa.

Have a great weekend!

Hmmm…you make it sound like a must see movie for everyone. I’m not into sci-fi at all, but if you say it’s this good, I really believe it’s a great movie. Actually, I haven’t heard a bad word about it. Too late to wish you a Merry Christmas, but not to late to wish you a Happy New Year!
