So… what did the DR say?

Well… the DR poked and prodded. We talked about what the symptoms are… apparently “I just feel yucky” doesn’t cover it entirely. We took a test for the H. Pylori virus.

The results? My Acid Reflux pills weren’t effective anymore. And/Or I have an intestinal tract infection.  So… we switched me over to a different set of acid reflux pills. I started them last night. If they don’t work in 4 days, then I start on a round of anti-biotics for an intestinal tract infection. If that doesn’t work… we start on the gull bladder, tho she doesn’t think that’s it at all, entirely wrong symptoms.

I gotta say… I’m starting to feel a little better! I ate last night… like more than soup (tho I did have soup, too). I ate Toast! I drank a full glass of milk with out gagging! That is amazing… that’s gotta be the most I’ve ate in one day in weeks. Seriously, weeks.

I will likely do the round of anti-biotics for the intestinal infection just to be sure… this misery is just not good.

Why do I always wait so long to go to the DR? I wait until I cant take it anymore. That’s just silliness. I should go pronto, when I feel ill.

Thank you, dear friends, for being there for me. I’m hoping that I get this out of my way and I’ll start feeling like a productive member of society again. After all the dopiness from one of my other drugs (which I cut down on) and then this… It seems like I’ve been down and out for 6 months or better.

Off to save the world!

About Fizz

*I'm a Northern Girl livin' in the South. *I graduated with a BS in Geophysics from Michigan Technological University (MTU). *I have critters: 2 dogs & 1 cat. *I love thunder and rain days. Too much sunshine gets on my nerves. (How I survive in Texas I do not know!) *I'm trying to remove swearing from my vocabulary (Good Luck!). *I'm the last single in my group of friends. The rest of the turn coats got married. *Sadly, the above friends are now procreating. Now the world will have yet more strange and twisted individuals that will have to go to an Engineering School to survive. *Yoopers do exist. Look on a map. *Marvin the Martian and I have a lot in common. We're both cranky when crossed and generally like our own way. *I will never be a model! (Thank god, that starvation stuff has GOT to be painful!!!). *I am not Fat! (Even though that little voice behind my right ear might tell me that every single day). *I am normal. Whatever that means! *Yes, you can be smart and not be a geek. *I've been told I'm not boring. We'll see. *Much to my irritation, I have been described as Eccentric. *I cannot spell! *Being Single is a frame of mind. *Who said life was fair?

Fizz we put ourselves last in this world. When we start to think to ourselves if I’m not well this and that wont be either we tend to see that our bodies are important. Sometimes hearing bad news is what keeps us away. But we’ve gotta buck up. I do it too. Take care I hope that you are eating like a champ soon. ttfn

Dear Fizz, try drinking H.E.B. brand of Soy milk and here is a name for you ask your Dr about. PROTONIX it is PPI. No one knows what ACID REFLUX is like if they haven’t experienced it. I have and my Doctor has it under control now. You name it and I have it as far as stomach problems go.

Oh my dear girl I have not been getting alerts and I am way behind on you. I had the acid reflux so bad last fall I even had the paramedics here. The antibiotic for what the Doctor said was acid burns that went right through me! It didn’t seem to help but you know what did? Hugh got me a big bottle of liquid Aloe!! It soothed all the down immediately! I drank a half cup twice a day and also used Gaviston. The Aloe I believe is what healed me. I just wanted to share that with you. Ever since then I drink a bit of Aloe every morning and have not had acid reflux for months now. I have some posts of yours to catch up on now.
